Happy Easter
A large part of what I do is design work. I normally use a color picker of some sort and use varied settings to get my base.
I’ve been thinking about it more and I want to use more natural elements in my design. Color schemes that appear around us in nature, but might not be as apparent when using a predefined color scheme. Now that doesn’t mean I’m throwing out my color picker, it only slightly alters my starting and end points.
To start I want to document objects that I appreciate and gather a collection of photos that represent something to me.
I’ll also use my archive of photos I’ve taken and grab from there.
Here are my first few I’ve taken with the desire to capture a feeling in the colors.
I’ll be posting more as I capture them. I’ll also post a few photos that inspire me.
I’d also like to know what inspires you. Let me know over on my Facebook Page.
The bushy tail, the big teeth, the hooves
Wait, my producer just told me it’s a picture of trees. It may in fact be a beautiful fall shot taken in Cherry Hill.
Feel free to enjoy for any non-commercial use you see fit. If you are going to publish on a blog or other website please include a link back to shotbyus.net.
Have a great day!
Whether you are looking for scary or cute we know how to photograph Halloween.
We’re always looking for unique opportunities to add to our portfolio and I think we captured a good mix of photographs this year.
I posted a guide to making your own pumpkin stencils last year and I’ll be adding a new post with more instructions and all the stencils I created this year.
